Arbetsförmedlingen was getting a lot of feedback that the main functions were too many clicks away from the starting page. I proposed a re-design based on visitor statistics and user surveys.
One key improvement was to make the tab for jobseekers pre-selected, as over 90% of the visitors are jobseekers. The tabs for the other target groups are still the same number of clicks away from the start page. This way, the area for logged in users is always in view.
The current version is similar to the mock-up I made.
