Impressive – but doesn’t that rightfully belong under a bed, according to the edict? I wonder if the next page is just the monster scurrying off to hide under a bed…
Now, what reason could the emperor have for issuing that edict? Was he still a child, perhaps? This lends some credibility to the story that the emperor was born with powers… On the other hand, the edict number seem rather high for håthat. Maybe he just wanted to scare someone.
